The International Contractors feature is available to all Justworks customers and is integrated into the Justworks PEO and Justworks Payroll platform. You can onboard, add, and pay international contractors from the same place they pay and manage domestic contractors and full-time and part-time employees.

Do I have to be a Justworks PEO or Justworks Payroll customer to use the international contractors feature?

You don’t have to be a current Justworks PEO or Justworks Payroll customer to use our international contractors feature. We offer a standalone option, but signing up for Justworks PEO or Justworks Payroll is easy and simple at any time.

How many countries is Justworks’ International Contractors supported in?

Accepted Answer

What type of currencies can international contractors be paid in?

Accepted Answer

International contractors can be paid in their preferred local currency or in United States Dollar (USD). When paid in USD, international contractors can receive payments to personal virtual wallets, like Wise or Payoneer, or a U.S. bank account.

What is the cost of paying international contractors through Justworks?

Accepted Answer

All Justworks customers have access to international contractor payments in supported countries. You will be charged a $39 fee per paid contractor plus applicable exchange rate fees. That means you’ll only be billed during the months you pay an international contractor. We believe in transparency, so you'll be able to view the exchange rates on every transaction which has operating costs built in. Exchange rates may vary depending on several factors like the amount of money sent, country you’re paying contractors from, and the currency being used.
